This 1-Ton was new to East Midlands Electricity Board in 1974 and was a hard top fitted with ladder rack and shaft driven mayflower winch/ After sale, it was fitted with a rover V8 engine. The owner is currently treating the vehicle to a restoration to in-service specification.

As of 2025 the fully restored 1 Ton is back on the road and has been attending various shows over the past few months.
